During the meeting, themes like isolation, expansion and application of adipose tissue-derived MSCs will be discussed, as well as the role of MSCs in cancer progression and the main biological properties of MSCs secretome, including extracellular vesicles.
A specific session will be dedicated to the 3R principle (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) applied to both animal models and in vitro studies. During the Joint Session with the Italian Society of Diabetology (SID) we will discuss the role of MSCs in diabetes too.
All these topics will be presented by world-class speakers in six scientific sessions, providing an interdisciplinary forum that has the aim to bring together clinical and basic researchers to exchange, share and discuss the latest findings, in order to promote cross-disciplinary collaborations.
At the end of the meeting the three best posters will be awarded with the “Young investigator Award” (500 euro), to encourage our youngest members to continue to invest in their research activity and education.
